ADP (Automatic Data Processing) is hiring a Lead Implementation Consultant supporting the Global Workforce Management (GWFM) team within the GlobalView Business Unit.

The Lead Implementation Consultant (IC) role is the primary functional and technical liaison between ADP and our clients for software implementation. The IC meets with the client to conduct initial project implementation activities, analyses and documents client requirements as well as working on integrations with other HCM systems. The IC is responsible for setting up ADP Workforce Manager according to the clients’ requirements. The IC participates in establishing and monitoring of the client implementation schedule and reports on the status to Project Team members. ICs also prepares individual work plans in conjunction with established project milestones in a manner consistent with ADP project standards. ICs are expected to independently manage their workload to ensure that they are meeting project timelines and communicating with the client and project team as defined in the Implementation best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysis & Consultation:

Implement the client’s solution using ADP’s Implementation Methodology and the ADP Global Workforce Management (GWFM) products.
The main point of contact for anything Integration related, for the client and for ADP project teams.
Perform workshops to gather information on the client’s requirements.
Design and document the client’s solution including business requirements, interface specifications and any other specifications required according to ADP’s methodology and project scope.
Take ownership of issues & gaps between client requirements and ADP GWFM products and work with other teams/streams/areas to resolve them.
Analyse activities in order to define the specifications for the effective configuration of the system, ensuring to meet the requirements of client.

Integration & Testing:

Liaise with clients throughout the data cleansing, mapping and conversion phase and provide any assistance required, including reconciliation.
Development of integrations, both inbound and outbound. Such as inbound demographic data and outbound payroll data.
Being able to support training delivery and when required update training manuals, preparing training systems and conducting training sessions.
Provide guidance in preparing test scripts to enable clients to adequately test the solution.
Support clients through the User Acceptance, End-to-End Testing and Go-Live phases.
Ensure that all deliverables are created on time and accurately as per project schedule, such as Blueprints, specifications, BP reviews, Configuration Audits and configuration documentation.
At the end of the project ensure a timely handover to the client service team following ADP handover methodology.

Product Knowledge:

Possess the highest level of HR and time management knowledge and the necessary competencies to deliver the maximum value to ADP’s clients.
Maintain up to date knowledge of the GWFM Product, related news and any developments to the product.
Liaise with the Product Manager to provide feedback on the product to understand future product direction/ changes.
Provide assistance and liaise with the Product Manager & Project teams to propose and deploy new enhancements.

Project Planning / Management Activities:

Minimize ADP’s exposure to risk while focusing on the appropriate application of the GWFM product to maximize value to the client.
Demonstrate proactive participation in Implementation Team forums, contribute and participate in knowledge sharing and team development sessions. Seek to act as a mentor and actively support fellow team members in an effort to develop their respective skills.
Liaise with the ADP Project Manager assigned to the project and Line Manager, providing regular status updates and early warning of any slippage / problems that may occur.
Escalate project issues to the Project Manager including scope variations, task slippages and risks that may arise during the project.
Provide relevant training and knowledge sharing opportunities for members of the Implementation Team, this can include informal on-the-job training to facilitating formal training courses.
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of key implementation strategies such as the ADP implementation methodology.
Knowledge of the issue tracking process.
Keep clients blueprints, configuration worksheets, client specific configuration documentation and training material if any up to date.
Liaise with internal groups including Tech Support, Hosting, Client Services, Project Management and Product Management to ensure the client’s receive the highest levels of client service.
Perform Quality Assurance reviews on blueprint requirement documents and configuration of the client’s system.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or Business Administration preferred (or equivalent in training and experience).

Experience:

2+ years progressive experience in a data integration or technical service role that is client facing and responsible for integrating multiple systems.
Must have system configuration knowledge /consulting skills.

Skills & Abilities:

Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly, lead and work on multiple projects simultaneously, and be results oriented.
Confident, articulate, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical thinking problem solving skills – work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities, or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications.
Integration development – good understanding of the end to end process of developing integrations between HCM systems. Work with 3^rd party system owners to integrate to their products.
Strong consulting skills – must be able to take a consultative approach when working with client’s requirements and providing solutions to them.
Methodologies – demonstrate knowledge and application of key methodologies employed by Implementation team and Project implementation methodology.
Ability to prioritize tasks and time management skills, ability to work across various projects, ability to lead a team of consultants to effectively implement a solution.
Ability to use tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio to effectively update and maintain documentation / training / demonstrations.
Client focused, demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of clients.
Good business process knowledge of GWFM module being implemented.
Developing: Resolves Variety of Issues.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Prior experience working with ADP Enterprise eTIME, ADP Workforce Manager
Experience in implementing UKG Products (Workforce Central, Ready, Pro Workforce Management).
General understanding of HR and Payroll systems and processes (specifically Time Management).
Experience with Boomi for integration and data management, strong proficiency in JSON and XML for data interchange and formatting, and expertise in using Postman for API testing and development.
Proficiency in Java/Groovy 1.5 or 2.4, and JavaScript for scripting and programming.
Expertise in using Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
Experience with APIs for flow design, testing, and development.
Familiarity with Workday, Oracle Cloud integration, and SAP integration.
SFTP Knowledge – File movement and Encryption
A strong combination of excellent communication and technical skills.
Prior knowledge of other ADP products and systems, such as payroll products; Celergo or GlobalView.
Knowledge of implementing in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

[JULIANNA, CENTRIC, DISTRICT MANAGER] My job first out of college was a sales job. I was definitely not given the right tools for success.

[ROMARR, ASSOCIATE SALES MANAGER] First job out of college, I did some consulting with my fraternity. Loved it. It was great. The pay wasn't exactly the greatest. And I wanted to come back to my hometown. ADP was just kind of a way to get back here, make a little bit more money. It was not supposed to be a be-all, end-all situation.

[CAT, VICE PRESIDENT, ADP] I actually worked for a competitor. So I had been in the industry for about five years before coming to ADP. And I had an acquaintance that worked for ADP. And she had gotten promoted, and reached out to me and said, I need you to come work for me. And I kind of laughed it off because I had been doing well working for my competitor.

[CHRISTOPHER, SALE EXECUTIVE, ADP] Graduated high school at 18. Immediately joined the Air Force, where I spent four years. I joined the Air National Guard, did another six years there. And then subsequently became a police officer. My career kind of got cut short there, so I took some time off. I went to school full-time in my 30s. And then ultimately took a job with ADP.

[LAUREN, SALES EXECUTIVE, ADP] I'd worked in the start-up space for a while. So I had some sales experience, but never with an established company.

[JULIANNA] I was just looking on LinkedIn, and I saw the opening for ADP Outside Sales. And I was like, you know what? I'm just going to do it. And I am so, so thankful that I took that plunge.

[ROMARR] I just fell in love with the atmosphere. Coming from an athletic background, the sales environment and the culture that's built at ADP, it motivates you to always want to win. There is always an opportunity for you to be coached to be better. That's what's kept me, now going into my sixth year.

[CAT] I love payroll. I love HCM. And for me, to work for the best of the best, work for the culture that is ADP, it was literally a no-brainer.

[CHRISTOPHER] When I initially got hired by ADP, I had wanted to get into sales previously. And to find an entry-level position in sales that was going to give you all the tools that you needed with really competitive compensation, ADP was it. I didn't know much about ADP at the time, but I found out quickly, within my first few weeks, that the culture was magnificent. The people were just unbelievable. The training program was second-to-none. They really set you up for success from day one.

[LAUREN] Sometimes I'm asked, why have you stayed at ADP so long? I firmly believe that the grass is greener where you water it. And I think that ADP has provided me a safe space to be able to cultivate my career, be able to grow, be able to push myself and challenge myself.
