Brainstorming ideas with the R&D and Product teams, fighting the talent wars to attract the right kind of talent, and finding ways to improve associate engagement are some of the activities that make up a typical day. Also, I am fairly new in this job, and I try to meet with as many associates as I can, and that also takes up our time during my day, but all-in-all, it's such an exciting time to be at ADP.
ADP is transforming to be the global leader in HCM technology enabled by great service during these exciting times the opportunity to lead R&D and Product Management teams at ADP India translates to helping build the next generation of our HCM products; in fact, these products are already having a tangible impact our not just our clients but the HCM industry at large as a matter of fact one of our next-gen products just won Top HR Product and Awesome New Technology of the year at the 2019 HR Tech Conference.

There's a lot of really next-gen projects that are using all the modern software pieces. And then from the Java side, there's the latest versions of Java, Microservices and a lot of interesting things going on in there. On the UI side, there's different projects using React and Angular. So everybody's keeping up with the latest to date.

We have a really cool stack. We use Spring Boot + Groovy which is a library that sits on top of Java. And then our UI uses React Redux with some ADP component libraries to make things a little easier, so you don't have to worry so much about styling and CSS.

Well, I currently work on Angular, which is one of the top, most popular frameworks in front end development using JavaScript. If you are more into the backend as a developer, we are using Spring Boot, which is another fast growing, very popular-- it's been around for several years, one of those frameworks for the back end development using Java.

We use Big Data, Apache Spark, heavily, on AI and ML space. We work with Psychic Learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, also Stage Maker.

My team specifically works with a lot of Angular, Docker, Amazon Web Services. The teams around us are using Spring Boot, Node Express. And if anyone ever has any ideas for new tools or anything, those are always open to be brought in and used.

We work with a variety of tools and technologies. Like, we have Kafka, Hazelcast, and I mean there are like a number of tools in technology that we use. And we are also progressing towards AWS, which is a boom in the market right now. So, yes, I think we constantly try to keep changing to the latest technologies in the market. And we all are increasing our key skills, as well.

[LEONARD, VP, GOBAL PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGY] So the story that I like to tell candidates when they come here is specifically around the passion and the purpose-driven culture that we have.
I like to tell the story about the clients that we support today, whether it be a gig economy type of company or a big retail industry.
Oftentimes, I actually take these individuals to actually go see a client to be able to show them the real-life workings of how our product and technology supports them on a day-to-day basis.
And very, very often, being able to put technology and how we support the client together really puts pen and paper together in the realities of what we do to help support these companies on a day-to-day basis.
