Job Description: Snr. Project Manager
Role Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will need to have a strong technical background and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional teams located in various countries.
Key Duties/Tasks:
I. Project planning and coordination: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project management best practices and industry standards.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
Lead project retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery.
II. Project reporting & Communication: Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and other project documentation.
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and workshops with diverse groups of stakeholders.
III. Business Readiness: Experience in business readiness tasks, such as developing training plans, user adoption strategies, and change impact assessments.
Demonstrated ability to manage change within an organization, including change management planning, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies.
Knowledge of change management methodologies, such as Prosci or Kotter’s 8-step model, and ability to apply these methodologies to manage change effectively.
Experience in developing and implementing communication plans for projects, including stakeholder analysis, messaging, and communication channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and designers, located in various countries.
IV. Stakeholder Management: Mentor and coach project team members, providing guidance on project management best practices and technical expertise.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management, project sponsors, and end-users.
