Junior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps / SRE to help support and scale the production environments that power our critical ADP French applications. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation while working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of production applications
- Contribute to the automation of operational tasks and deployments
- Collaborate within agile teams (SCRUM) to manage production support and technical operations
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Handle and document incidents, root cause analyses, and issue resolution
- Maintain and improve deployment workflows and operational processes
- Automate recurring operations to improve system resilience and efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours support (when necessary)
- Analyze production environments to improve performance and optimize resources
- Contribute to operational documentation and runbooks
- Work on a variety of technologies and projects across a dynamic tech landscape
Core Responsibilities
– Monitor and maintain application uptime and performance
– Support application deployments and environment configurations
– Identify bottlenecks and failure points, propose and implement fixes
– Participate in agile rituals and bring operational insights to the team
– Apply DevOps best practices in a collaborative, cross-functional setting
– Assist in technical change implementation, sometimes outside normal hours
– Improve observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
Technical Skills We’re Looking For
- Good knowledge of Linux systems (RedHat)
- Proficient in scripting (Shell, Python)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Good knowledge with configuration management (Ansible, Ansible Tower)
- Familiarity with web application servers (e.g., Tomcat)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Comfortable analyzing JVMs and application performance metrics
- Basic SQL and experience working with Oracle databases

- Exposure to container technologies Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platform AWS
- Interest in site reliability engineering principles
- Willingness to take ownership and contribute to continuous improvement
