GlobalView Senior Lead Consultant
Job Description
As a member of ADP’s GlobalView Project Services team, you are responsible for consulting with clients on their requirements, capture the requirements into a blueprint and ultimately implement these changes. The work will be done in project mode, where the Lead Consultant will work closely together with the responsible Project Manager.
Analysis & Consultation
• Perform blueprinting workshops to gather information on the client’s requirements
• Design and document the client’s solution including their business requirements and any program specifications required according to ADP’s documentation guidelines
• Take ownership of issues & gaps between client requirements and ADP GlobalView template and work with other GlobalView streams/areas to resolve them
• Solve (complex) problems; take a new perspective on existing solutions; exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Integration & Testing
• Liaise with clients throughout the data cleansing, mapping and conversion phase and provide any assistance required including reconciliation
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the SAP Products, of SAP related news and any developments to the product and its competitors
• Possess strong SAP payroll configuration skills
• Support clients through the User Acceptance Test, Parallel Test and Go-Live phases
• Responsible for achieving estimated days as per fixed price strategy
• Ensure that all deliverables are created on time and accurately as per project schedule
• Ensure timely handover to Client Services following ADP handover methodology
Product Knowledge
• Possess HR and payroll knowledge and the necessary competencies to deliver the maximum value to ADP’s clients
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the ADP GlobalView template and ensure that the template is adhered to
Project Planning/Management Activities
• Liaise with the ADP Project Manager (Consulting) assigned to the project and Line Manager, providing regular status updates and early warning of any slippage/ problems that may occur
• Provide relevant coaching and knowledge sharing opportunities for other members of the (project) team and works in close relationship with Implementation Consultant, off/near shore team. May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Liaise with other internal ADP departments like Basis Team, Client Services, and Product Management to ensure that clients receive the highest levels of client service
• Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
• Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Must have configuration knowledge/consulting skills for SAP payroll. Must have solid functional/ blueprinting knowledge
• Must be experiences in one or more countries
• Must have 5+ years of proven SAP payroll consulting experience
• Must be fluent in English
• Teamwork, work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, working together to accomplish business results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinking problem solving skills — work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications
