The Senior Director Digital Solution, International will be a member of the ES International (ESI) Digital Operations and Transformation Services team reporting directly to the VP / GM, New Business Solutions ES International. This role will strategically lead enterprise-wide initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, generative AI, advanced automation, digital innovation, and comprehensive data strategies to drive significant business value and transformative financial results. They will establish and oversee ESI’s global strategic AI, Digital & Data Centre of Excellence, fostering AI & Digital operational excellence, effective data governance, advanced analytics, and enhanced associate and customer experiences.

This position requires a strategic leader who will foster innovation, drive continuous improvement, and cultivate a culture of excellence and agility across a large globally distributed team. With substantial visibility and accountability at the executive leadership level, this role necessitates superior stakeholder engagement skills, robust incident management, and clear executive communication capabilities with C-level executives and global stakeholders. Directly leading a senior team and matrix-managing approximately 150+ global digital solution professionals, they must possess strong transformational leadership, an impactful presence, and the proven ability to deliver measurable, transformative business outcomes on a global scale.

The role will also adhere and apply enterprise architecture governance and ensure alignment with long-term business and technology strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Set strategic direction and executive leadership for AI-driven digital solutions, and data operations COE aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead global teams with large budgets, driving innovation and strategic execution.
• Define and execute digital product and AI roadmaps that deliver substantial client and associate value, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise infrastructure, data solutions, architecture, MLOps, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring security, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
• Foster strategic partnerships with technology providers, industry leaders, and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiency, and proactive service delivery.
• Champion ethical AI practices, data integrity, and rigorous adherence to regulatory and compliance standards across global operations.
• Provide executive-level insights and reporting to senior management, clearly articulating strategic impacts and performance outcomes.

SPECIFIC SKILLS / EXPERIENCES:

• Extensive executive-level experience in AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, Digital Transformation, RPA, BPM, Cloud (AWS & Azure).
• Outstanding ability to formulate and communicate strategic vision, roadmaps, and plans to executive and senior management.
• Display very high levels of energy, resilience and maintaining a positive outlook even in the face of adversity.
• Must be able to challenge the status quo and influence multi-directional and non-linear relationships.

• Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or equivalent.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in AI, Digital Transformation, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
• Proven experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and leading large global, cross-functional teams.
• Track record of successful digital solution implementation, AI-driven innovation, and operational excellence.
• Extensive international experience managing complex operations within large multinational organizations.
• Fluency in English, additional languages highly desirable.
